Adding a sitewide calendar

Adding a visual calendar to your site is easy, and you can even filter for Meetings, Events, or both.

The calendar feature in Streamline is designed to be a simple and easy way to display all of your Meeting or Event pages in one place. The calendar widget itself simply locates any Meeting and/or Event page anywhere on your site and displays it on the respective date for that event or meeting.

Because the calendar is technically an Element, you can add a calendar to any page on your site by clicking the + icon on the left-hand size of the Main Body area of the page editor:

Then make sure to choose Calendar from the Element menu:

Once you've added the Calendar, you'll have the option of featuring Meetings, Events or both.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I have more than one calendar?

A: Yes! But it will only function as described above -- a calendar displays events, meetings, or both.

Q: Can I have a calendar just for specific types of events or meetings?

A: Not at this time. The calendar widget simply shows all published Meetings and/or Events, regardless of where they are posted

Q: What other options do I have if i want to display selected events or meetings?

A: Consider creating a landing page for this purpose! You can learn more about landing pages here. Or if that doesn't help, please reach out to us at support@getstreamline.com!
