How to create, customize, or add meetings & events to a sitewide calendar

The calendar is a simple element that can be added to any Streamline page, which does one thing: it searches throughout your site and displays all of your meeting and/or event pages. Simply by creating an event or meeting page, the calendar will display it automatically. At this time, no other customizations are possible.

Add a calendar to a page

  1. Navigate to the page where you want to add your calendar and click Edit this page at the top of the screen:  Screen Shot 2023-03-28 at 10.00.13 AM
  2. Below the Title, in in the Main Body Content area, locate the + icon  to the left of the location where you want to add a calendar, and click the icon to bring up the Insert Element menu 
  3. Choose the Calendar element and click Insert in the top-right corner: 
  4. You will see the Calendar editor appear, giving you the option to display all of your meetings, all of your events, or both. Choose your preferences and click Save when finished: Screen Shot 2019-08-23 at 10.41.07 AM-1

Note: currently, all meeting pages and event pages you create will be added to the calendar, if you have selected either option in the Calendar editor:
There is no option to remove or feature only specific meetings/events; it's all or nothing.

 Customize what a calendar displays

  1. While editing a calendar page, hover your mouse anywhere over the calendar element and click your left mouse button.
  2. This will bring up the Calendar editor; you can then add or remove either the meetings or events from this calendar.

Add an event to a calendar

  1. Confirm your calendar is set up to display Event pages
  2. Navigate to your Content Library:
  3. Create a new Event page from your Page library and save it; your event should automatically show up on your calendar

Add a meeting to a calendar

  1. Confirm your calendar is set up to display Meeting pages
  2. Navigate to your Meetings Dashboard: Screen Shot 2023-03-28 at 9.59.58 AM
  3. Create a new Meeting in your dashboard and save it; your meeting should automatically show up on your calendar

Move and reposition a calendar

  1. While editing a page, hover your mouse cursor over the calendar
  2. Locate the blue cross icon   near the top-right corner of the calendar
  3. Click, hold, and drag your mouse to move the calendar up or down the page

Remove a calendar

  1. While editing a page, hover your mouse cursor over the calendar
  2. Locate the red X icon    near the top-right corner of the calendar
  3. Click the X to remove the calendar from the page
