To modify your website’s navigation menu, follow these steps:
- Accessing the Menus:
- Locate the red admin bar on the left-hand side of the website and select “Menus.”
- You’ll see three navigation options:
- Primary Navigation: This is located above the carousel, at the top of every page, and is often the most used.
- Secondary Navigation: This appears above the search bar in the top right.
- Footer Navigation: This is found at the bottom right in the footer in a vertical list.
- Understanding the Menu Structure:
- In the menu structure, main items like Home, About, and Contact Us are aligned to the left.
- Items that appear as drop-downs are slightly indented under their corresponding main titles.
- Adding a New Menu Item:
- To add a new item, click the ”+” button next to an existing menu item.
- Name the new item.
- Click the paperclip icon to link the item to the desired page.
By following these steps, you can easily modify and customize your website’s navigation menu to better suit your needs.
