If you’re using a custom domain, pointing it to your new Streamline site usually takes just a few minutes, though it may take up to 48–72 hours for the change to fully propagate online. Please wait for our official confirmation before announcing your site.

Here’s what happens on your go-live date:

1. Update Your Domain Settings

We’ll provide you with DNS information — special records that tell the internet where your website lives.

• If you manage your own domain: Log in to your registrar account (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Bluehost) and update your DNS records.

• If Streamline manages your domain through our Concierge Domain Services: We’ll take care of this step for you.

2. Issuing Your Security Certificate

Once your DNS is set, we’ll automatically issue your SSL certificate so your site loads securely over HTTPS.

• During setup, you may briefly see security warnings.

• Don’t worry — these resolve quickly once the certificate is active.

This step ensures that every visitor sees the little padlock in their browser and knows your site is safe.

3. Your Site Is Officially Live!

Once DNS and SSL are ready, your Streamline site is live to the world. 🎉

Behind the scenes:

• DNS Settings: Updates may still take up to 72 hours to fully propagate worldwide.

• SSL Certificate: Keeps your site secure.

• Search Engines: Google and other search engines will start indexing your site automatically, often within just a few days.

For better visibility, consider linking to your new site from:

• Your county website

• Associations you belong to

• Other trusted local sources
