Amplify makes it easy to create new pages whenever you need them. Whether you are adding a department page, a project overview, or a landing page for a special program, you can set everything up from the Content Dashboard. This guide walks you through the steps.
Navigating to Amplify Pages
To begin:
-
Open the Content section from your main sidebar.
-
Select the Amplify Pages tab at the top of the screen.
Here, you will see a list of all existing Amplify pages. Each entry shows the page type and recent pageview data so you can quickly check performance.
Adding a New Page
To create a new page, select Add New Amplify Page. This will open a setup window where you can:
-
Enter a title
-
Choose a layout
-
Preview what the page will look like before saving
This gives you a clear starting point before you begin adding content.
Choosing a Layout
Amplify includes several layout options that help you organize content clearly and beautifully.
By default, new pages use the Interior Standard layout. If you want to try a different design, select Change Layout and choose from templates such as:
-
Room to Breathe
-
Landing Page
-
No Navigation
-
Other interior styles
Once you have selected a layout, enter a title for your new page and select Save to create it.
Managing Page Location
After the page is created, decide where it should appear on your website. To place it in your navigation:
-
Go to the Menus area of your site.
-
Add the page to the appropriate menu or submenu.
You can also link to the new page from another page or feature area if you prefer not to place it directly in the main navigation.
Your Page is Ready
Your new Amplify page is now created and ready for customization. You can:
-
Add Designer Sections
-
Adjust layout and colors
-
Update content
-
Improve accessibility
-
Publish when ready
From here, you can build out your page just like any other page in Amplify.
