Calendar Overview

The Calendar Designer Section allows you to display a calendar directly on your Amplify homepage. This section helps visitors quickly see upcoming events, meetings, or important dates in a familiar calendar view.

This article walks through how to add a Calendar section, choose what content appears, select a layout, and customize the appearance.

Add a Calendar to a Page

1. Go to your Amplify Homepage.

2. Click any blue + icon where you want to add a Designer Section.

3. Select Calendar, then click Apply.

Choose What to Include on Your Calendar

When adding a Calendar, you must choose what type of content will appear.

Under What would you like to include on your calendar?, select one or both of the following:

• Meetings

• Events

At least one option must be selected for the calendar to display.

Choose a Calendar Layout

The Calendar section includes two layout options.

1. Click Change Layout.

2. Select the layout that best fits your page.

Available Layouts

• Stacked
  Displays the calendar with a title and supporting text stacked above or around the calendar view. This layout works well when you want additional context or instructions.
• Calendar Only
  Displays just the calendar without additional content for a cleaner, more compact look.

Optional: Display as Accordion

You can enable Display as Accordion to collapse the calendar into an expandable section.

• When enabled, an Accordion Title field appears so you can label the accordion.

• You can also choose an Accordion Color.

• Visitors can click the accordion title to expand or collapse the calendar.

This option is helpful when you want to save space on the page.

Customize the Appearance

You can adjust how the Calendar section looks using the Edit Section settings.

Add a Title and Subtitle

• Enter a Title to label the calendar.

• Add a Subtitle to provide additional context or instructions.

Section Title Alignment

Control how the title and subtitle appear above the calendar.

• Left Aligned

• Centered

Section Color

• Choose a Section Color to set the background color behind the calendar.

• Select a color that provides good contrast and aligns with your site branding.

Add Padding

• Enable Add Padding to add spacing around the calendar section.

• Padding helps visually separate the calendar from other content on the page.

Save and Preview

When you’re finished configuring the Calendar section, click Save to publish and preview it on your homepage.

The Calendar will now display upcoming events so visitors can easily stay informed.
