I love this idea. :)
I couldn't see where this option had been implemented. We recently had a meeting be cancelled do to the weather, so what I did was on that meeting page stated that it had been cancelled and also added it to the emergency notification. As stated in another place it would be nice to have the emergency notification be an different color such as orange or red.
